I am one of the Founder Members of Mote Runners and the Club Secretary.
I started running about 10 years ago primarily to improve my fitness and also in an attempt to lose some weight. Whilst I had no real aspirations to run long distances, I enjoyed the comradeship of running in a group and have now completed (very slowly) 4 marathons. I find running is very satisfying and like everything, the more you put into it, the more you get out.
I’m a Leader in Running & Fitness (LIRF) and am interested in all aspects of the sport from helping new runners to watching the elites.
