November gave us the good news of receiving a London Marathon club place, we held a draw for the place and the lucky winner was Dave W.
On the 10th November Alan ran a good time at the Saffron Walden half marathon.
The following week at Marden Tony had a strong performance in the half and John Martin deserves special mention for running the 10k after getting a sub 27 in Folkestone Parkrun the previous day (with a hangover!)
Our travelling trio, Liane, Nigel and Suzanne, all completed the Deauville half marathon in France.
Mote runners were represented for the first time in the Kent VETs Championships by Alan in the M50 and Mick & Tony in the M70 categories. Well done to all three who competed and whilst there wasn’t an M75 category, from the results it looks like Tony would have won this age group.
Again we have had lots of Mote Runners doing various Parkruns around the country with Mick completing his 170th Parkrun.
